Finally! The Brooklyn Bridge
Posted By: maxwell1295, 03-16-2009, 07:15 PM

I've been meaning to make a trip down to the Brooklyn Bridge for the longest time. I finally made it down there today. Sky was overcast, but I was still able to get a few decent shots off. Still too many images to go through, but here's a little teaser...

Great shot Maxwell.
Love post processing that has been done.
Lovely bridge although it looks a little warped in the middle
Cheers Neil

Hey Max....

Nice. In all the years I made a living as a photographer in NYC I never got around to photographing this bridge. I have covered most of the others for projects or for personal reasons, but not this masterpiece.

Thanks guys! I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out. Now I'll have to see how it looks in print. Just put an order in a little while ago...

Very nice composition and tones. The white sky actually helps. Keeps your attention on the subject.

Except for the modern attire of the pedestrians, it has a timeless look to it. Well shot and well processed.

Hmmm, to me the people are what seal the shot for me. They give the bridge Character. With out those people it would simply be another plain good bridge picture...''imo''
