I saw 1 owl when I was about 7 (so 31 years ago) close to Chilliwack British Columbia.

I missed my shot when I took my last trip to Alberta, I had had 1 land on a post right beside me while I was driving. He spooked me for a moment since all that I saw was some fast white figure coming out of the ditch after dark.
I figured that he'd move before I could get everything out, plus I didn't think that I could make the shot without the flash and I didn't want to blind him.

My point being that this isn't an owl. I was just giving you a hard time

When I was about that age.. 7.. my grandfather used to take us to see an owl that he had 'adopted' near the cabin he owned on Crimson Lake in Alberta. It was just a tiny thing, living in an old tree stump. Some fond memories.

Congrats on the POD. Well deserved I'd say as this is a very clear crisp hawk shot with excellent details. Good shooting!

Thanks!

Thanks to all of you for looking and for your comments. The K10D and Bigma were made to be a pair . . . even with the "soft" jpegs . . .
