Why I was very rarely on the forum in past 14 months

Well, the reason is this gentleman:
(shot with K100D, Sigma 17-70 at 70 - F/10 1/100, Metz 58)

Congratulations, he's a handsome little fellow and I'm sure he appreciates you spending time with him, instead of sitting in front of the computer.

Damn Brit

That's great, congratulations. It seems to me though that you should have learnt to keep him clean by now.
Do you keep your camera in a plastic bag for protection?

Well, that was his first encounter with chocolate (we put a bit into the semolina (I hope this is the word)) , and he learns how to feed himself. He was a lot tidier when he was breastfed.

Do not worry Gary, camera is usually far enough that he cannot reach it, although he could throw things (food) at it

Fortunately he does no such thing. He's a good little boy.
And his name is Robert.

In the U.S. we would call it his baby cereal. The word semolina is not commonly used, but it is the same thing as farina or the cereal brand "Cream of Wheat".

awesome - congratulations - and no need to apologize - kids take up your time that's just a fact. (but it's so rewarding!)

He looks like a happy fellow, thanks for sharing Branimir.

Indeed, a joyous reason. Of course, you don't need a reason. But now you have many more reasons to enjoy your photography. Congratulations.

Congrats. Those little one take so much of your time, well so do those teenagers. Took me ten years to find a few moments to take shots other than the children.

Well done meaning both the shot and the reason for being away...
