Winter Path

Another short walk today, just a local wetland park.

f/11 1/200s 28.0mm iso200
(I think it was f/11)

Very nice. Simple and effective. It's that light that makes it and you have captured it beautifully.

Thanks JMR, the lighting today was all over the place. Dark clouds, blue sky. Fun trying to get the right shutter speed. It was a good lesson today

I like the colors. Personally, If I was painting something like that, I would probably change the angle just a little bit to make the road not to lead the eyes out of the canvas. As we say - "never lead the eyes off the canvas. Lead them inside your painting." But, then-it's just an artist's point of view.

Thanks CJ and I agree, the path would look best in the way you described. I walked from the right side of the photo and the light just didn't work the same.

Thanks Damn Brit, just practicing M mode for the MX (or KX, KM) I pick up tomorrow. All depends on the condition the model is in

Good shot! I like the contrast between the light in the trees and the dark clouds behind them
