40mm Limited Sharpness...
Posted By: slugtaco, 04-07-2007, 10:39 AM

For whoever is interested in how sharp the 40mm Limited lens is see below.

I love this lens, it is my favourite as of right now.

So... the following photos have absolutely no sharpening. First is Full Frame picture. Second is 100% crop of original.

I just received mine this week. Completed my DA limited collection. It is a really sharp lens and I am becoming a big fan of the focal length which I find to be just right for most casual shots.

I thought this would finish my LBA but sadly it hasn't, oh well.

Resistance is futile, there's no end to LBA.

Nice shots, unfortunately my FA50/1.4 keeps me from buying this lens, the tiny size never really mattered to me. Who knows down the road, though...

Cheers!

I thought I saw that flooded bridge shot earlier? I just don't remember whereabouts in here.

I saw that photo before, that was in the pentax photo gallery. Right?

I like the photo and the sharpness is no doubt clearly demonstrated.

It seems that there is no "chalky" colour coming out of this lens as others have suggested elsewhere.
