Sunset at the rail crossing
Posted By: Rense, 03-19-2009, 12:19 PM

Had a quicky with my newly aquired SMC-Takumar 55/1.8 at the level crossing nearby. The lens is great, with a very smooth focus ring, better than any of my other lenses..... Fun to work with!

I love these, especially the fourth, where you have the tracks shining bright in the dark ground!

Hey, Rense - pretty profound stuff coming from a new lens; a cool, subtle series.

My first pictures with a new usually are of milk cartons, a leaf in the yard or some such other stuff.

Great job, Man.

Thank you Jer! Those are my first pictures with new lenses too, usually. But the day before yesterday we had a good sunset, and I promised myself to make photos of it as soon as we had one again....
