Walking Downtown With the Little Brother
Posted By: metroeloise, 03-19-2009, 03:21 PM

I've been trying with site for awhile and yet have gotten what I want out of it. Going tonight with a tripod and trying some different things out.

K100d Super. 1/15 @ F/2.8; ISO 1600; 28mm. Tammy 28-75.

This one I saw as more building and something that showed it was a Bank.

K100d Super. 1/90 @ f/6.7; ISO 200; 300mm. Tammy 70-300mm

Have a few of this building from about this angle. This day I liked the sun blazing right behind the building. Next PP to bring up the contrast. Also like the washed out light bleeding in look. Want to learn how to make It look better in PP.

K100d Super. 1/90 @ f/16; ISO 200; 17mm. Sigma 17-35mm

I had been obsessed with the opened up aspects of shooting and neglected the tighter f/stops. This is taken a few minutes before the one above away from the sun.

K100d Super. 1/250 @ f/16; ISO 200; 18mm. Sigma 17-35mm

Thanks.

I would agree #2 and #3 are the best of the lot.

#3 looks very hip and artsy - I don't know if I would change much in PP. The coloring makes it look kind of like the retro style that's in these days for album covers and such.

Thank you all.

#3?

Thinking of working some masks and doing selective enhancements of those colors. Also will work the focus/blur of the the closers cars.

Thanks again.

PS I got my k20d back and it has been a love affair! sharp images! Post some soon.
