You want to see a parade? Peek inside
Posted By: LaRee, 03-19-2009, 07:46 PM

Here are a few shots from the St. Patrick's Day parade last Saturday. I blew it with my lens selection. I really should have taken the DA*50-135 or/and the F*300. Live and learn I guess.

The light was pretty flat, gray skies and all. So I post processed many liberally. I uploaded almost the whole boatload to zenfolio as my sister wanted to see them. I'll eventually thin them out. But if you'd like to take a look here is the link:

You challenged yourself with lense selection and worked on your PP, i don't see anything to be worried about

Sepia toning for a Nostalgic images, seems appropriate, well done.

Nothing wrong with the lens selection from what I can see. Love the muted color and sepia tones .

This is a great series - there's something about the guy in the last shot that reminds me of Jimmy Stewart although the face shape looks quite different.

Oh, what have you done! Everyone and everything looks so important, like they are frozen in time. Well done. I also saw and liked your Bob the Builder series. It was too much when I saw Bob receiving those flowers on Valentines day. Still smiling at that one.

Very retro feeling there

I like the sepia toning in these images.

The last shot is the winner!
