Amazing Sunset!

Took this one yesterday evening using my new cokin ND8 GND filter. The sky that night was full of color and I was struggling to find an interesting forground. After finding this group of rocks I quickly set up the K20D with the 16-45mm lens and started to snap away.

That's really a beautiful shot Cory! The filter worked really well. Personally, I like it even better with some of the rock cropped off the bottom. I played with the crop a bit by scrolling some of the photo off the bottom of my screen.

I would agree with saj, I actually like a little tight crop. I like the foreground interest, but even almost as a square crop it looks amazing. I might be slightly biased; it could be that I just have a tiny screen

That's fantastic. I've shot loads of sunrises and sunset (I used to work night during the Finnish summer...) but I never managed to capture one that well.
