FA31mm + HDR sundown
Posted By: lbenac, 03-21-2009, 04:39 PM

Since I purchased this lens a couple of weeks back it has not really left my camera.
Last evening I took advantage of the sundown. This is the first image processed from the series:

Luc,
Really nice use of HDR. It enhances the picture but keeps it in the realm of normal eyesight. If it was my photo, I think I would crop out the branch in the puddle and the tree branches in the upper right. By the way, the compressed attached version does not do it justice. The linked version is much better.

Beautiful shot in deed. So surreal with the lighting and the composition rocks!

Hello,

Thank you all for the comments.
Regarding the branch in the foreground. Well I like it - I like the way it snakes in and out of the water and curves to point to the reflection of the tree. To me without it the photo is just another "reflection" photo.

I just processed a couple more - really two crops of the same composition:

#1 Wide

#2 Color

I like the composition of the first one (pano of two shots) and the colors of the second.

Cheers,

Luc.

I like all of these shown! The first is most interesting, imo, great foreground subjects!
