Backyard Visitors (Ducks!)
Posted By: Adam, 04-08-2007, 06:30 PM

A few minutes after putting out some bird seed for the doves and crows, I found 2 ducks swimming in my pool! Here's what they were doing by the time I grabbed my camera and lenses (FA* 85mm, FA* 80-200mm, A* 200mm, A 400mm):

Hey, Mo...

that Great-tailed grackle shot belongs in my ugly-bird thread- not with the mallards!

Good stuff!

They are so sharp and 3D!

Somehow I like the colour rendition from A* 200

With that dry Arizona heat can you blame them? Nice captures Adam! Being from Toronto, I can't help but notice that exotic looking backyard you have Absolutely nothing even remotely close to that in Ontario.
