Posted By: ve2vfd, 03-24-2009, 05:44 PM

Well, I'm down in florida getting a bit of a break off winter.

Spending my days on the beach and there are plenty of photo ops...

A view of the beach at noon

Whatcha talkin' about Willis?

I don't know what those are called, but they run FAST! They outrun the waves

sureshgvv ... Thanks!

cupic ... Thanks, it's a nice place!

pcarfan ... Thank you!

Ray ... Sandpipers!? Ahhh thanks! They are cutte little birds.

graphicgr8s ... Thanks, I'm staying in Ormond Beach for the week. It's nice and quiet here. Just what I want

Dave ... Thanks! That pelican was 5 feet away from me. It was standing next to a fisherman in the beach, begging for fish.

Scott ... Birds are also my favorite shots! Hey it's never too hot!

scott-devon ... Thanks!

Georg ... Thanks!

Kevin ... Thanks! Editing the pics is really hard as I only have my tiny Acer Aspire One laptop to work on on this trip.

Not yet!

I flew in to visit my parents for the week (they rented a condo in Ormond beach for the month) so my mobililty is quite limited.

I've been spending most of my time on the beach. My only plans were to visit the Kennedy Space center (which I did yesterday), and going to a Blue Man Group show in Orlando saturday.
