Spring Beak - Clearwater Beach, FL NSFW
Posted By: sawtooth235, 03-25-2009, 08:57 PM

I got done a little early today so I took a stroll on the very crowded beaches here in the Clearwater/Tampa, FL area.

Dave,

It's been like this for the last 2 weeks and it won't change for at least another 2 weeks. We'll suffer through having to share our beaches, If we have to, I guess.

Georg,

Yes the annual migration of the American college student does leave one speechless.

drmartin,

These were taken from far enough away as not to draw attention to myself with the help of 400mm worth of glass.

Damn ... if you are seen with a camera on the beach in Australia ... it gets taken off you ... regardless.

Such a shame really.

Why do they do that? Is it considered an invasion of privacy? Seems odd that a person will parade around for all to see, but have a problem with a photograph being taken.

It's more to do with families on the beach with kids in swimmers moreso than scantily clad women.

There's a TV show here in Australia ... Bondi Rescue ... and it has been shown a few times on this show that they have escorted photographers off the beach and handed their gear into the Police .... looks like they have been given the right to do it and it was mentioned by the Police as well that they are allowed to.

Thanks: so many, many months it has been since the bikini has been sighted up here in New England, with a few more weeks, ay least. to go.
