Very cool. An excellent shot of spontaneity on the street. You can also see the street in the reflection.

I love that black detail, and of course what's in the window.

Nice shot Ben - could be a scene from a movie - very real slice of life.

Woot! I can't wait to pick mine up this weekend; it's sitting in the parcel receiver's warehouse just across the border.

Man, I need to stop clicking these DA70 threads, especially since I'm in a struggle trying to convince myself that I don't need it The DA50*135 covers that range nicely......at least that's what I've been telling myself.

Of course, I said the same thing about the DA35 and we all know how that turned out.... The thing almost never leaves the camera. I have a funny feeling the same thing would happen with the 70.

Well, I went through the same struggle except that I've accepted the fact that a) I enjoy shooting with primes and b) I'm at peace with myself using the 50-135 for specific events/situations rather than an "everyday" lens.

I'm sure I'll go through a couple more iterations of changing my line up but I think I'll be pretty happy based on what I've seen.

Very natural and cinematic. Reminds me of Henri Cartier Bresson.

Very stylish, subtle photo with a great street feel to it. That 70 is a terrific street snapshooter, no doubt, but the eye took that shot.

That's exactly what I did. DA*50-135 for events and sports and weddings, DA70 (and my other limiteds) for everyday shooting and various projects. It's nice having a nice light lens. And once I get my setup figured out, I should be able to change prime lenses in 3 seconds flat or less.

benjikan, love the picture!! It's so subtle yet profound.

This makes a lot of sense. I mainly use the 50-135 for events, street shooting, and some sports. I also use it a for portraits. The weight size of the DA70 makes a lot more sense for everyday use. You guys are starting to convince me....not that I need much convincing. LBA is a tough thing to deny.

Very artistic. The composition is so stellar here. I wonder what the lady is up to. Interesting facial expression
