Castle Anthrax AKA The Castle of Guy de Lombard AKA Camelot AKA Swamp Castle
Posted By: brkl, 04-09-2009, 10:58 AM

AKA Doune Castle. I've been traveling frantically since my exchange year is about to be over. As a result, I have far more pictures of wonderful Scottish castles most of you would care to see! This one was only one of two castles we visited that day. For most interior shots, I used ISO 1600 and just exposed to the right and let the highlights go. Most at 18mm f3.5 with the kit lens, too. But I think they turned out well.

I think Monty Python's french wasn't up to date. It still doesn't make sense to me.
I think it was "Fetchez la vache". Something like "fetch the cow" in frenglish

The B&W suits the old stones very well, love the contrasts.

These were cool! Like the B&W treatment.
Did you ever make it to Craigievar or Dunnottar, in the Aberdeen area, or Eileen Donan near Skye? Those are really photogenic castles.
I spent two years living in Scotland and loved it, so I enjoyed seeing these.

Really enjoyed the series. B&W was the way to go. I like the 1st and 4th ones the best.
