The Monticello series seems like something swirling out of the mists of time. That black & white waterfall is magnificent.

The falls are about an hour and half drive from my home in Gassaway, WV. I remember the hike down to the last falls was a lot easier than the hike back out. Very beautyful in the late spring and early summer with all the mountain laurel in bloom. Summit Lake off Rt.55 before Richwood, WV is worth the trip in the fall. Jim

Beautiful shots. I love the B&W one of the falls. I was supposed to be going by there last fall on my trip to Huntington, but we got a late start back to VA and couldn't manage the side trip in the time we had left. Looks like I need to make a special trip up there.
