I don't shoot many sports events, but a new acquisition (Sigma APO 135-400mm/4.5-5.6) motivated me to try a little baseball. I got it the other day and decided to see how it would handle itself on the diamond.

Shot with Sigma 135-400mm and Pentax DA*50-135...

Great series Alan - the colors really pop especially those blue uniforms.

I agree, did you PP those much, cuz those colors are amazing! Even on my crappy work monitor.

I did a quick run-through in Lightroom using some presets, but those royal blue uniforms are really vibrant to begin with. In a few of those images, I actually toned it down a bit.
