First Wildlife Photos (7imgs)
Posted By: Edicon, 04-10-2009, 03:31 PM

Just bought a Sigma 100-300mm f/4 this week from a fellow Pentaxian here and these are the first few pics that I recently took. I can't believe that I will cross the $1K mark with my lens buying. This is now the most expensive lens in my arsenal.

Thanks for looking and comments are very welcome.

Can someone ID birds in #1 & 2 for me. Thanks

Hi Edicon,
the first one is a Brown-headed Cowbird and the second one is an American Starling. Nice shots, btw.

WOW excellent series, I like all of them even though I am a little partial to ducks, great job, I'll be looking for others, thanks for sharing.

Great shots Edicon, especially for your first try.

The second is actually a European Starling.

They look very nice Conrad,
I got that lens recently too and it does a nice job even with a 1.5x TC.

Thank you and I'm really happy with IQ this lens is giving. I'm thinking of getting probably the sigma 1.4x TC as well.

Votesh. Thanks for correcting me; I don't know how I came up with American Starling?
