A white duck

More from my first foray into shooting birds. I'm really enjoying my new lens.

I tried a bit of sharpening on this one. Over done? It's about 25% of the original image.

This area of the lake has many varieties of birds. There was a spoonbill hoovering away as I arrived. Too many pelicans to count. None of them wanted to pose

Looks great to me. The sharpening looks good. Infact had you not mentioned it, I would not have noticed. The exposer is spot on which is the hardest part of shooting a white duck. Well done.

Thanks, Javier. I got lucky with the exposure

I binned my pics I did today of a white duck due to a tad too much over exposure. Lovely pics. What lens are you using for the bird shots?

Thanks for the comment. I used a DA* 50-135. It's a lovely lens.
