Hi

I'm no expert, especially with portraits, I do however notice that the lighting in these shots is a little flat. You could try using your spot meter and your exposure button, meter on the highlights, take some shots then try the same but meter ing on the mid lights then metering on the darker shadows, compare and see the differences. Beautiful children, good luck.

Very nicer shots. I do prefer the first one... the composition works better for me.
I saw the un-cropped version on flickr though and I like it a lot too.
You got beautifull kids

Look-at-the-little-cutie... I like the first pic best. Doesn't look half as flat as most pics I see on here!

Hanamai there is something definitely wrong here. These children are simply too cute! They can't be this angelic! Not at two!

I really like your first photo, these eyes are really cute! The lighting from below seems to work here

If this is a "she", chinese people tend to call her eyes "watery pear-shaped". This would suggest a a future grown up woman with great temperament attributes to her interaction with male population.

Can't help you there - my little one will be 3 in June. But the pictures are wonderful.

Thank you all for the sweet compliments. It's so hard to get them to sit still for any decent amount of time!

Picture-wise, I liked the first.
Child-wise, I liked both.
I am the father of two of my size and I only faintly remember them being this sweet ages ago!!!
Congratulations...

I really like both of them and can't decide either. So I'll be sitting on the fence. Beautiful shots!

both kids are absolutely adorable, and I like both pictures very much. I like the b&w conversion in the first better than the second, the tones are more soothing to the eyes (if that makes any sense at all!)
