Still getting used to the 400. The Cardinals are very skittish and I haven't quite nailed one yet. Here's the best so far. A few more just for fun.

I know what is like to shot these little guys! Just a tad off on the focusing, as most of mine are! JIM

There is zero depth of field with this lens but I'm not giving up. It is a challenge. I think the Cardinals have nested nearby and I am going to get that shot. If only they would come around at high nood on a sunny day!
