Birding with the M 400/5.6

Still getting used to the 400. The Cardinals are very skittish and I haven't quite nailed one yet. Here's the best so far. A few more just for fun.

I know what is like to shot these little guys! Just a tad off on the focusing, as most of mine are! JIM

Thanks Matt and Jim.

There is zero depth of field with this lens but I'm not giving up. It is a challenge. I think the Cardinals have nested nearby and I am going to get that shot. If only they would come around at high nood on a sunny day! Stay tuned.
