For the benefit of Class A, I've posted this image of a 1974 Citroen DS, with the chevron on the bonnet - the car bonnet was the source of the image on the Travelling Nifty Fifty FlickR stream

I suspect this is a custom job - but then again, these folk are as passionate about their cars as many of us are about our cameras and lenses.....

Definitely looks like a custom job. Never seen one of these chevrons on a DS's bonnet before.

What a beauty this car is. Absolutely love it. And the ride is truly divine.
