Old and rusty, but still alive
Posted By: Rense, 04-16-2009, 07:36 AM

Found this one when I was biking. Instead of doing full colour or B&W, I tried some more PP, which I did never before. Hope you like it, C&C welcome.

I like it.
Desaturation and reverse vignette works OK here.
A little loss of detail in the subject detracts from its interest, but apart from that, nicely done.

This is a terrific image - I've never tried anything like this, but your good work stimulates me to do so.

BTW, when I saw the title, I thought a picture of me would come up.

Ashraf and Jer, thanks for your kind comments! And I don't have pictures of all forum members, unfortunately...

When I read the title I thought you were refering to my car

But seriously I like it, though I'd be curious to see that pic in HDR.

Hi Pat, thanks. HDR is a thing I never tried before, and I have no idea how to do it.... Probably have to spend some time on the net.

The problem with this image was the blown out sky, hence the PP....
