G20 Protest images, London

These are some images I took at the protest in London over the G20 summit. I was there for the two days.

I've jus' checked on the video evidence that is now in the public domain, that the policeman on the left in the last photo, with that armguard and his shoulder numbers removed (illegal), is the actual guy that assaulted a female protester by smackin' her across the face and batonin' her legs.

This guy is now suspended from his duty, but on full pay no doubt. I think he should be fired from his job, that would be proper even-handed justice.
There are now nearly 150 complaints and countin' made to the IPCC in regard to how the police meted out brutality indiscriminately, at this protest.

Very good documentary series, imo! Also great B&W shot per se regardles of subject matter, but very well suited to this theme!

A somewhat stark series. All the photos have a tension to them and perhaps that is what was in the air. Well done.
