Dave, that is a very funny series as well as good photography. The first and the last are in my eyes the best. What did you use? 55-300?

Fun series Dave, love the sense of humour. Nice shots as well. Couldn't find any dead parrots?

THanks Jim that is my favorite as well. Haha Congrats on the new K20D , my wife was much more understandable the K20D is cheaper than a Corvette I tell her haha. I have only had mine a couple of weeks still learning it but so far I do indeed like

Thanks Heinrich - what I went there for was to pratice some birds in flight with the new to me Tamron 70-200 but the geese had other ideas very few took flight and those that did were so far away from me. I put the Pentax 1.7 TC on a little later , next time I will try the 55-300 and or Bigma.

Thanks Rense - indeed we have a couple of man made bodies of water that the geese pretty much stay at from spring to fall then of course head off to warmer pastures.

What a hoot! I LOVE the comments.

The geese in Delaware never seem to migrate. We call them freeloaders always looking for a handout but the advantage is that they don't mind photographers.

Thanks for the funny post!

Super series buddy; reminds me of the old ditty: "bend over and touch your toes and I'll show you where the wild goose goes . . . . . ."

Thansk pardes - another Monty Pythin fan good to see. Yep the geese here are pretty use to people when they have young ones around the get a littel hissy other than that you can get pretty close.
