This image was shot at 1600 ISO with the new K20 to compare the K10. Also picked up the 16-50 2.8 from Pentax to go with the K20. Had yard work all day so no other pictures. Shot this one on the way home from the Camera store. My daughter will be taking over my K10 and joining me in my hobby. Really looking forward to that. Hope to get out tomorrow to run the K20 through a number of tests. Cheers JIM

I will. I am so looking forward to shooting some landscapes. Heading to Washington next week and hope to pick up a new tri-pod well I am in the US. That should hold me for awhile. What I really like about the K20 is it feels like the K10. Need to read the manual soon. Cheers JIM

Hey Dave - isn't there a K20D initiation ritual that requires a new owner (i.e. JIMBO) sending selected K20D veterans (i.e. Dave and Jer) a case of beer (veteran's choice)? Please say yes.

Congrats on the new camera but why so late?
Bird's body seems sharper than the head. A little more DOF would have made it perfect.

Its costing me though. My wife is headed to Vegas with girl friends. I am not sure who got the better deal. JIM

I agree though I was trying the 1600 ISO on the shot. Wasn't thinking too much about DOF. JIM

I got the K10 just before the K20 came out. spend most of the last year buying lenses first. Mama will only let me out every so often to buy!. Just happy to have it now. JIM

<snip>. JIM
Having been to Vegas many times and my wife even more than I, I suspect she did - although that is a trade I would make any day as well

So true. I personally don't gamble or Vegas for me is almost a waste. I have to head there at the end of the month for work. JIM
