1960's Fire Truck
Posted By: McD, 04-14-2007, 04:00 PM

So I was helping out a friend today shoot a documentary about local volunteer fire fighting group and they happened to have a old truck there so I snapped a bunch of pics of it, here's the few that i liked. All take with K110d and the kit lens.

The hoses bunched up in the back

Light on the front

Truck again

Hoses again

Hope you enjoyed, comments welcomed.

nice pictures, and a Beautiful truck, and that fire hall might have used that truck in the 1960's.
However I believe that the truck it's self was built sometime in the late 1920's or early 30's

I've been trying to find a grill that looks the same, (to trace the year) but haven't managed to yet.

Thanks for the comments guys, and yeah, about the truck, just going by what i overheard, so maybe i heard wrong, but I could definatly see if being older the the 60's that's for sure. Thanks again

Good eye Stu. If I'm not mistaken that is either a 1935 or 1936 truck. Check out this link:

Thanks for looking it up Salty
I own a couple of 1920's Essex's (Hudson bargain lineup) projects, which is how I knew it wasn't right.
