I'm not used to wide angle shots. I come from the Takumar club and really like fixed focal length lenses, with long focus throw and manual apertures. I mean really like, probably over 10k photos with them. That being said, I've recently gone to the dark side and been using and enjoying a DA* 16-50mm. Here are a few photos from this week. Like I said I'm really not used to wide angle, I had a hard time framing these to avoid corner (pincushion) distortion, but am pleased. Thoughts? I'd post large versions, but think people/their browsers would freak out with scrolling.

Yes, that is a K1000 with an SMC 55mm f1.8 on it

Not much to dislike about this lens.
Well worth the bucks.
