Posted By: Jimbo, 04-20-2009, 07:46 PM

Few shots from the new K20. Still have to load the software. Can only work in Lightroom as PS need the CD loaded. Too damn busy! Thanks for looking. JIM

Notice that Photobucket gives the image a slight underexposed look. Brightened this one up though the original has much brighter colors. Until I get the K20 softwre loaded, Lightroom is all I have. JIM

I really like the clarity of these and how the colors stand out.

Thanks Jim.. Love the Sigma 70-200mm 2.8. The orginal jhave much brighter colors. I loose some on the down load to Photo Bucket. I need to get my lap top unlocked for downloads from my head office to get the K20 software loaded. Should have it done tomrrow which will help on the PP side. JIM

I love that you are doing so much bird photography Jim. That pheasant is amazing. Nothing will test your skills and your reflexes like photographing birds. You really have to be "on," and you are!

Thanks Jeff. I do believe it improves my focusing skills doing these bird shots. I find I am spending a little more time on my Landscape shots now too to get the sharpness better. Always appreciate you commenting Jeff. JIM

Thanks Iced. I have two more I will post soon. Tough to get the image sharp given the distance I was shooting at with my 70-200. All manual focus. JIM

I have seen a few of these pheasants around but never close enough to take a picture. I lighting was a little hursh given the time of day. Can't understand why these damn birds won't position themselves so the sun is in the right area! Cheers JIM
