I much prefer the first picture to the second (guess I'm not a fan of whited out photo's).

I'll go along with that - soemtimes it works - but in this case I like #1 much more.

I actually like the 2nd shot better. The 1st one would've benefitted from some fill flash. Plus, she looks like she's really having fun in that 2nd pic....great expression.
