Few Shots from today.
Posted By: Jimbo, 04-21-2009, 04:51 PM

Just not enough time to for my hobby. I have been trying for sometime to get a Heron in flight. Missed the focus by just a bit. He moved a little quicker then I thought. The second is just before he took fright. JIM

Jimbo,

Nice series. You didn't miss by much on the BIF. In fact, his feet look very sharp. Maybe is was subject movement that caused the slight blurring.

Good capture of the HIF, awesome colours in the last shot. What kind of bird is that Jim?

Nice to see you expanding your horizons so to speak Jim. BIF are difficult for sure but that Heron shot is pretty good.

These are great shots. I really like the partridge. If you notice, the flying Heron has wonderful complimentary shadow. Next time you may get him sharp. I think your images are sharper and denser, must be the K20- you know, the one I don't have!

I am sure the K20 has something to do with it though the K10 is still one awesome camera. I continue to push towards thatr Ultimate Heron shot. Moving on to landscapes for a bit though. Thanks JMR. JIM

The second shot is excellent. Real nice environmental shot of the bird and the bird itself.

I like both heron shots, good light and spot on moments!
