Well Sat. went to the Dogs
Posted By: Photo Tramp, 04-15-2007, 05:19 AM

Saturday morning and a little of the afternoon I spent with another forum member (RoscoT) Who came up to visit Harrisburg Pa. for the Dog show. We walked all over the show floors and I got quite an education from Alan. I also got some very nice Pics of the dogs. I don't know the names of the dogs but here are some of my shots.

Mommy I'm bored.

I don't have feet I float.

I'm so Pretty.

I just washed my ears and they'll frizz.

Pink???

One of the winners. And a very distinguished gentleman.

I'm just soooooooo happy. (This is my favorite shot)

All in all we had a very nice time and I got to see some of the greatest animals in the world. Thanks Alan for allowing me to spent some time with the dogs. This was a really nice day.

Thanks Stu.
It was my first time photographing dogs. I think your right they do make great pets and they seem to understand what your telling them. They sure seem to understand when your in a funk.

But for the past 7 years we have had cats which seem to own us and demand things, like food and when they want to be pet.

Love all the captions you applied to the great photos. Made me laugh "I don't have feet..." hit right on!

Hi David,
No 2 ( is it a Mareema..??) is classic, as in the dog is obviously watching the competition and appears to be thinking...." I can beat you"...well thats my take anyway.
And No 8, well can't you just apply a heap of different thoughts to this one.....perhaps you should post them again seeking a caption.
mine for No 8 would be...."third place!!! oh the shame of it, how did it all go so wrong!!" lol.
Thanks for making me smile.

Thanks Mark,
I'm sorry to say I had to leave and go back to work earlier in the afternoon. I would have love to have stayed and shot some more with Alan. I did have a good time and there were some nice shots.

I don't know what I'm going to do with 2 grandsons (besides love them ) I'll never be able to keep up with them, but I will have a great time trying.

Great shots.

#1 is an Australian Sheperd. I'm almost sure of it (I've got one) but I'd have to see a more sideways facial structure to be sure.

#2 is a Great Pyrenees. Both #1 and #2 really capture the essence of the breeds.

Good work.
