Fantastic environmental portrait Ikon'. I really like the shapes in the scene as well as that eye peerin' over his arm back at me, 'cos of course we don't see the artists eyes. Nice one.

I'm not sure if the ikon's eye is visible like that on purpose, but it's brilliant. One is secretly watching the master at work and then notices the eye staring right in the eyes.

Thank you for all the kind comments, and yes emr, I shot it like this on purpose because of the incredible effect it has.

BTW there is a video on the making of this icon here Spot the K20D and DA* 50-135 :-)
