Picking my son up after an early evening birthday party and noticed the lighting at City Hall was feeling just right. Knocked off a couple of shots just as the sun went down and left the evening touched with purple and violets.

Shot wide-open and handlheld in disappearing light so focus might be a touch off but I love how the 50mm F1.4 makes the backgrounds look painted.
