Fleetwith Pike
Posted By: thomasjmpark, 04-26-2009, 01:42 PM

Hi,

The original of this shot is a bit dull and boring so i thought i would try and save it with a bit of tonemapping. Its a shame there wasnt more sun to light up the landscape! Fleetwith Pike is the triangular one in the distance.

Balck and white version, im not sure about this..

I like the first image after auto level. The colour seems to posess that glow in deed.

The coloured version is my preferred image.

That's rather nice. Yes the first one for me as well.
I should be up in the lakes in the next couple of months.

I prefer the color version as well. The B&W version loses the distinction between the sun and shaded areas within the image and that's what really sells the image for me.
