#1 and #2 are stunning - especially the sharp reflection in the water droplet.

Very interesting bokeh from these Tammys - kind of an even texture.

I really love the detail in the waterdrop & leaf of #2 & 3. The B&W conversion of the last one also works well!..

Thanks you Steve. #2 is such a cliché, but I always love it.

I put a fair amount of work into that B&W conversion - not really the conversion so much as the exposure - the rock was relatively overexposed, not blown out, but the detail was washed out some - It was recoverable in the RAW conversion, but pulling down the highlights killed the contrast in the water, so I created two copies of the shot (in lightroom so it's super easy) and tweaked the exposure for the rock detail in one, and for the water in the other, and then combined 'em using enfuse (single frame HDR I call it ).

Nice series Josh. I think #3 is a super shot - great colours, patterns & shapes.

Thanks Daz... I'm happy with how that one came out (especially since I basically looked at the sun through the tamron 90mm while composing it ).

Great series! I especially like the transparent leaf, looks like aspen to me?

Glad you like 'em Georg - I think the leaves may be my favorite shot of the morning, and I agree they look like an aspen leaves (like my avatar), but I believe it's a cottonwood tree.

The water droplet shot is amazing but i really like the last bw one. Something about it really draws me in. But I'm something of a bw junkie anyway. Nice stuff.
