Something a little different. This series is all about highlights and colours in the rain. Notice that most shots have white sky highlights as the focal point of the image. It was really raining on this outing, so don't let the wonderful colours and highlights fool you. I bought one of those department store plastic capes to cover myself and my equipment.

Very nice series, JMR. I like the look of strong colors under a cloudy sky, and especially like number 2 in the collection.

Nice shots JMR - indeed sometimes overcast days are the best - love the colors - such a deep red. Nice close up of the mud in the tracks as well.

I liked the gritty look of the closeups and the view in the last photo. All in all a nice set.

Thanks everyone, I looked for a horn to blow, but all I got was rain drops for my efforts.

Thnaks Georg. It is hard to believe until you get home, that rainy weather can produce such wonderful light and other characteristics.
