Very nice. I really like the first two. I always preferred shooting so-called macros with a 200 or over lens. Working witha Macro lens is hard work if you care about the background at all.

Thanks YJD and JMR. I don't have a macro lens and most probably wouldn't have the patience to use it either but I do love to take pics of wildflowers.

Nice set, I especially like the last one! The other maybe lack some highlight?

The last one is by far my favourite, very nice lighting. The first two look a tad too dark.

Thanks for the C&C; I really appreciate it. The last one was my favorite too. I did deliberately underexpose the Fire Pink as it seemed to help retain the red color. I also bracketed it so I have some that are brighter but the depth of color is missing. Any suggestions as to how to keep the best of both worlds?
