I used the softbox as my background, providing the light needed.

Novel approach, I should try that one too sometimes. Good and expressive

However, there is visible blueish-greyish halo around the head (backside and a bit above the forehead). I'd myself probably edit these out.

I was going to say "What blueish-greyish halo?" Then I noticed that you edited and fixed the photo. Interesting technique, dramatic exposure.

NaCl(kinda scary, but I'm sure that's the intention)H2O
