Few pics from weekend trip. There was a lovely church with small churchyard at the place we stayed overnight. Most pics are unprocessed, but here are three for your viewing pleasure. Clickable.

Thanks aabram, really like the first B&W. Did you use a polarizing filter on it? Nice contrast and detail

Thanks, guys.
I kind of like the second one most too. At bigger size it reminds me a scene from some dark gothic movie, where there's a master vampire just about to leap out from the grave

No, I didn't use filters, 72mm filters are not exactly cheap and I've yet to decide which ones to buy. For converting to b&w I used photoshop channel mixer and if I reacall correctly then first pic is just the green channel and the second is 100% red + 6% green + 6% blue. Channel mixer gives more control over b&w conversion than just desaturation.

As for sharpness and detail, then I'm continuously impressed with Sigma 17-70. Of course I can enhance it in PP but I can only enhance something that is there already.

I like the first shot best but really all 3 are very good. I like the angle on all 3 esp. the last one.

I like all three but 2 and 3 really stands out for me. The second reminds me about old b&w films. Great shots.

Cheers

That third shot really stands out, to me. They're all great, though.
