Spring joy - family snaps with the DA 70 Ltd.
Posted By: Rense, 05-01-2009, 01:57 AM

Yesterday, we visited my wifes brother, who is a farmer. These photos of 3 of his 4 kids were made in the late afternoon, when we enjoyed a late sun over his grasslands. This is freedom and joy, IMO....

I just bought the 35mm ltd yesterday and was blown away by the amount of detail in the images I've taken. These are great shots. The 70mm is definately next on my list. To be honest, I'll probably end up buying all the ltd lenses in the end if my experience continues to be as good as it has with the 35mm.

Thank you! The limiteds are just great. I did not plan to buy the 70, but when it was sold on a Dutch forum for a reasonable price, I couldn't resist.... The 35 macro is next on my list!

You have captured the exhuberance of spring through these young girls. The first shot does it for me. But the others are good as well. Nice to see that you are posting larger photos. If you notice in the first image, the depth of field is a cross between extremely deep (all in focus) and a shallow view. This has produced the wonderful 3D quality of the image and makes the the girl appear to running with abandon in a field. Beautiful.

Thank you JMR. I am torn between 1 and 5: 1 because of the reasons you mention - the 3D of the photo - and 5 because I like the innocent attention of my (favorite) niece.

Thanks Gus! I think the 70 ltd is great for such work, so save the money, you won't have a use for it
