Chip off the old block
Posted By: daacon, 05-01-2009, 09:37 PM

There are a few of us members who have passed down the passion to our off-spring. My daughter and I went downtown the other day (so I could pick up some student discount software) and thought we might as well bring our cameras.

Unfortunatley at the time I had the DA 12-24 on and I was accross the street - her with her istD and Tamron 18-250 - as I was framing this building I noticed her squating down taking a close up of a fire hydyrant .... did my heart proud

Psssst ... tell her it's a fire hydrant; there on every street corner. I think she needs to get out more often.

That's called old age....lol! She's probably about half our age so she should be limber enough to do that.

I just have to reach up and grab my walker to stand back up again afterwards...

Nice to see your daughter following in your footsteps. My daughter is also fond on photography and she will be getting my K100 in the not too distant future.
It's cool when that happens for sure Frank. Perhpas she will be getting my K10D soon.
