There are a few of us members who have passed down the passion to our off-spring. My daughter and I went downtown the other day (so I could pick up some student discount software) and thought we might as well bring our cameras.

Unfortunatley at the time I had the DA 12-24 on and I was accross the street - her with her istD and Tamron 18-250 - as I was framing this building I noticed her squating down taking a close up of a fire hydyrant .... did my heart proud

That's called old age....lol! She's probably about half our age so she should be limber enough to do that.

Nice to see your daughter following in your footsteps. My daughter is also fond on photography and she will be getting my K100 in the not too distant future.

It's cool when that happens for sure Frank. Perhpas she will be getting my K10D soon.

Very cool and a great excuse to buy more gear. Honey it is not just for me I am sharing it with my daughter My son is 8 and has takena liking as well.
