Left-over blossom shots
Posted By: Asad_Masede, 04-17-2007, 02:29 PM

Some that I forgot to process and post, thought I'd post them now. The blossoms themselves are just about gone these days, though, so these are about a month old.

Not a blossom, but still forgotten from a previous shoot:

C&C invited and appreciated.

Cheers!

Really like the back lit one and the one below it. Excellent composition and execution. especially the backlit. I have a terrible time trying to capture back lit white flowers! The one below that one I like for it's simplicity, just one small group of blossoms, and the pale pastel almost pink is well set off by the grey and blue.

I think that is what the tree in my backyard is going to look like eventuall. I am only getting 1-4 flowers per stem. I hope it blooms like yours so I can take some nice pics too.

Thanks, Salt! Yeah back-lit flowers are a bit tough, but some spot metering fixes things for me. Thanks for a nice description of the image.

Cheers!

I'm sure it'll be "bursting" soon, that's the nature of these blossoms, they just wait for a nice day and then bloom. Looking forward to nice images from you as well!

Cheers,
