Oriole (Avian) (Two Images)
Posted By: sajmmiller, 05-05-2009, 04:14 PM

I think these are Baltimore Orioles. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, two pair of these beautiful birds paid a visit to my back deck today. I was able to grab a few shots through the window...they spook very easily. These were taken handheld with the K10D and DA 55-300mm @ 300mm and were cropped 50%. EXIF info should be intact. Comments always appreciated, and thanks for looking.

Great stuff Scott.

Very sharp and great colours. We (I) don't see these fellows often in my part of S. Ontario.

Cheers

Those shots are truly spectacular. The colours are awesome. For a "budget" lens the 55-300 does do too badly at all. I enjoy it, anyway
