For the pictures taken outside, I think a longer focal length (or a tighter crop) would fit this subject better. I'm assuming you want to show the statues, but now we get alot of not-so-interesting building too.
For the night-shot; did you use a tripod? It looks slightly moven.

I really like the first shot with the candles, it sets a great mood. The second I don't like as much. We don't see their faces, which makes the picture a lot less interesting.
