4000 metres + (quite) A few from Tibet
Posted By: fractal, 05-12-2009, 12:22 AM

I took these awhile back now on my first trip to China. Not taken with my K200D but my with previous camera which was a Fujifilm bridge cam. Me and my fiancee did have a trip vaguely planned to go back to Tibet but as her Australian visa was processed quite quickly unfortunately we do not have time for the trip so i thought i'd share these.

All taken in the TAR (Tibetan Autonomous Region). Yunnan & Sichuan provinces.

They are all brilliant. I really like the one with the lake and mountain.

I have not yet found a place on earth to equal the beauty of that lake. I don't think i will either.

Nice series....though the lady with the huge grin on her face weighing little fido is eerie!

Sharko: Thanks. I know a photo of dogs in China being weighed on scales does look quite bad but she was just playing around.. so it seemed.

Great series.

I could not help but think that the pic of the guy with the chain saw should have been immediately before the one of the butchered pig!

Good job with the shots.

I particularly like the candid shot in #10 of the guy with long hair.

B&W does it or me and the expression in his eyes are spectacular.

Hi Fractal,

I am LOL right after i saw the bike shot with the chain saw.
Now THATS the way to get the pedstrians attention instead of the horn. You know what i mean when youve been to China !!

Good shots as we've come to see from you, you have quite a talent for portraits and B/W.

Cheers Neil
