#2 is a lovely composition and is nice in black and white.

#1 is ok, heavy tint lifts it from mundane to noticeable, but not as nice as #2, compositionally it's basically empty. To nitpick, the 3-4 hilite stones at bottom don't belong.

Is the coloring in the top picture what the camera actually saw, or enhanced? I'm colorblind, but the hues in picture #1 are just wild.
