Despite all the troubles I've had recently with DA 40 I still like the lens. When everything goes right, it's still capable of superb results. Here is few portraits with it, from my last session:

Peter - you are indeed honning your portrait skills. The lighting looks great - I like the BW conversion - good choice of clothes and background and lastly such a lovley lady. Well done. #3 has a bit of shadow around the head that is a little distracting , all others are excellent I think.
