Yesterday was the first sunday outing of the "Piknic Electronik" in Montreal; It was quite cold (around 5c without the sun which only came out at around 5pm)
The setting in on Ile Ste-Hélene, in front of the city, and the event is below the Calder Stabile, a huge statue created by Alexander Calder created for the "Montreal Expo 67".
Pictures taken with K200D and supertakumar 50mm, DA 40mm ltd., da*50-135.
Is it spring ? is it autumn ?
Old Montreal with the Cirque Du Soleil tent.
The early crowd (notice the courageous girl in shorts!)
Innocent by-standards (lucky shot with the backfocused 50-135)
I should do beer advertisement!
The sun comes out, everyone is happy!
Happy camper.
DJ Andy Williams dancing after his set.
DJ Scruff (uk) selecting is next plate, old-school style.
Profiling can be fun!!
