Spring! Post your Motorcycle shots here!
Posted By: slip, 04-21-2007, 06:24 PM

This is my pride and joy.... had it since I was 20, bought brand new.
It is a 1983 Honda CX650ED. This bike was only imported into Canada and Europe, never United States. It is great to have something this rare...
I just put it on the road after 15 years of being in a shed....just put a set of Mezler's (spelling?) on it and it rides great!
you could say it is my new Lens

thanks

cheers

randy

The CX series were some of Honda's best machines and you still see loads of them in Europe.

Here's my recent purchase as I decided I needed more creature comforts than were offered by my Vulcan 800

This shot makes me want to get back out on my bike, again!
Just got a set of Mezler's (SP?) and they grip like glue.
That looks like a road built just for them!

nice pic

I haven't found that it moves around a lot in the wind, and I have been out on the plains in some serious winds this spring. It is very comfy and handles very nicely. The only thing that rides in the back seat is the camera bag as wife has her own bike, an R1100RT.

What a great site!
I wish I would have documented my traveling when I rode more as a younger boy, but I never put on the miles like you do.
Some of those roads look amazing!
Do you still have that Allstate Moped

Do you plan on doing the east coast some day?

cheers

randy,
for me, documenting my rides is almost as much fun as the ride itself. it gives me something to do after I get back.

about that old moped - no I don't have it any more. I sold it for $25 back when i was just out of high school. it was in pretty bad shape, I had abused it too much.

I would like to do the east coast - I am very interested in seeing Maine, Nova Scotia and PEI someday. There are some great roads and great scenery out there.

Take care,
Frank

Oh it was a good time.
1. West of Whitehorse, Yukon.
2. North of Tok, Alaska.
3. Between Tok and Dawson City.

Looking back, I should have brought my film camera.
